That's just some bull right there. I didn't start out not liking her either but the more I watch her, the more I just don't like her. She's just playing politics as usual: campaigning only in large states, accusing her opponent of doing exactly what she is doing, spewing negative rhetoric for which she takes no responsibility, etc. America is tired of this same old bull. It's not about the words, Hillary. Get a clue. Or maybe she can loan her campaign some money to buy a clue.

    AMEN.

It was freeing to finally realize she wasn't it and vote for Senator Obama. And I have to say, the further I get from my vote-the more and more confident I become in my instincts.

Glad I went with my gut.

What's truly infuriating is the spin that goes with it - I, Hillary, am allowed to lift speeches because I don't base my campaign on words.

    Um, yeah....tell me that again?

I'd like to point out that the most applause was for the Secret Service man - doing his job! Whew! That's excitement right there.

I think it's interesting that she turned on the tears again in another Connecticut. You'd think that people would see through this awful acting. There were no tears either time!! This is a RED FLAG for all the Billary lovers. If she is breaking down now, what will she do when she is faced with a Foreign Crisis?? I just can't see her breaking down on national t.v. I can't have the President embarrassing me like that.

Well, it seems that because she is losing at present she is going down swinging. That is a good sign. I love a good fight; however, I would prefer a much cleaner fight.

I also think that Obama needs to step it up a bit and talk more about what he plans to do. Don't go jumping on me folks.

I am an Obamacan and getting used to all this Liberalism. Give me time!

Anywho, I wanted to find out is there anyway to find out about how the voting went in your local county? I am in an area that is mainly Democratic. It was a former Blue State and I am curious to know if there is a way to find out how the vote went in your immediate area.

Also, when I voted in Maryland I had to change my political affiliation to vote for Obama. (tear) They had me fill out a provisional ballot. How can I find out if it actually made it to where it is supposed to go??

    I hope someone knows; I sure don't.

oh yea, thanks to the person who explained what the ayfkm meant.

Let's be clear about the Clinton's strategy: the calculus is that the plagiarism claim will hurt Obama a lot more than it will hurt her, because his campaign is built on authenticity while hers is not (clearly). While it's a cynical play, it's not irrational, and to take a more neutral POV here, if you believe that Obama is largely a "brand," then tarnishing the brand by any means possible will hurt the product.

Frankly I don't think the strategy will work, but it was a faux pas on Obama's part, and I do hope he'll start tightening the lid soon.

The other point that I made last night on my blog about this non-issue is that I am starting to get impatient for Obama to switch gears into something just a tad more substantive, as he started to do this past week. One rhetorical mode that Bill Clinton mastered and that Obama hasn't (though neither has Hillary) is the ability to expound on policy minutae in a way that sounds inspiring, interesting, and uplifting. All within soundbite parameters. I hope Obama doesn't start coasting now, because he can't afford to. Keep that message evolving -- we got the beat, but give us a new melody!

Thanks so much Baratunde! I noticed that even in counties that Barack had lower numbers they showed him as the winner. I don't understand that.

@GeneKoo, I honestly don't think the plagiarism will even matter at this point. I believe people are starting to see Hillary's true colors. When you are losing I believe the best strategy is to counter with the issues, and your plans for the future. Let us know what you are made of and what you plan to do.

Well, this strategy is certainly working against her. Let the "bamma" keep it up.

It is rather interesting how McCain and Clinton are downplaying his message of change. It's unfortunate that they do this because they don't have any "new" ideas for this country.

Okay, 10 minutes until the results for Hawaii!! Can't wait.
