One thing I admire about South Africans is their ability to maintain friendships even when they are on different sides of an issue (or many issues). I would hope we could do the same. I do think that there is a difference between attacking the substance of someone's arguments (like Malkin's position on internment) and attacking the person herself by suggesting she is being manipulated--"molded by her husband" and others.

Re: Michelle Malkin - Teflon For Racism?

i'm afraid we'll never agree on anything again joel. i can't remember the
last thing i wrote that you did agree with. kinda sad. michelle malkin is
not worth your defense. she's actually a terrible person. she wrote a book
called IN DEFENSE OF INTERNMENT. you're seriously going to come here and
tell me that i'm the wrong one?

michelle malkin is one of the worst people promoting "ideas" in the public
sphere. she helped start the STUPID STUPID pressure on dunkin donuts to pull
the rachel ray ad. i have absolutely zero tolerance or sympathy for her. she
is NOT smart if this is the sort of argument she's making. She's an
opportunist and quite dumb quite often.

http://www.crooksandliars.c...

Re: Michelle Malkin - Teflon For Racism?

Baratunde, this is really wrong. It's racist to declare that a woman of color who doesn't kowtow to the left-wing line is being manipulated by white supremacists somewhere along the way. Michelle Malkin is tough and smart, and I don't always agree with her but this sort of comment is unworthy of you.
